Description: |
The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy New Delhi (PAS New Delhi) seeks proposals for a project entitled “Teach in India.” This project will provide 12-24 socio-economically less advantaged pre-service student teachers preparing to work in American public schools at the middle and secondary school level with partial or full scholarships to carry out part of their student teaching requirement in India. The grantee must be prepared to provide university credit for this student teaching experience. In addition to classroom teaching, the scholarship students will be expected to become involved in his/her host schools’ extracurricular and/or community outreach programs.
