Description: |
This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. Specifically, 1. Continue developing the Organizational Sustainability Project and develop and implement a training initiative to provide expertise to NHA management entities so that they build capacity to diversify their funding. 2. Manage and maintain a contract for these services. 3. Advise and collaborate with the consultant team to proceed with the contracted project. 4. Plan and participate in calls with NPS and the already existing working group to guide this initiative. 5. Coordinate logistics for undertaking the project and ensuring its completion. 6. Provide reports to the NPS Northeast Region National Heritage Areas Program on progress and report on the final findings of the training sessions associated with the study. 7. Use funds provided by NPS to complete projects outlined in their Workplan and Budget. 8. Deliver engaging trainings for staff of the 48 NHAs across the country. 9. Document and distribute final training materials to NPS. |
