Description: The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to achieve HIV epidemic control and reduce morbidity and mortality due to HIV/AIDS and associated co-infections in key and priority populations (KP/PP) in Uganda. The successful applicant will improve the technical capacity of the MOH and comprehensive implementing partners to implement prevention and treatment programs for KP/PP to achieve the UNAIDS 90-90-90 goals. Key activities will include monitoring and improving the clinical cascade; building capacity to analyze and use MER data; supporting partners to provide sensitivity, gender, and sexual diversity trainings; and improving KP/PP service delivery at national, and sub-national levels. The applicant will also conduct surveillance and epidemiological activities including bio-behavioral surveys, size estimations, and implementation science to describe known and emerging KP/PP prevention and treatment programs.
