Description: |
Joshua Tree National Park (JOTR) has a need to complete project planning and compliance tasks associated with the requirements of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). The Parkâ¿¿s Science and Resource Stewardship Division (SRS); which includes the Cultural Resources Management Branch, is responsible for coordinating Section 106 Compliance. The park manages a large volume of historic preservation, routine maintenance, new construction, and research activities all of which require compliance with NHPA. There is a critical need to provide additional support for this work to protect cultural resources and meet park management needs. |
