Description: This 5-year FOA seeks to fund a qualified organization to provide a holistic orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) service package focused on improving the well-being of HIV infected and affected OVC and their families in a comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable manner, and in accordance with PEPFAR and national OVC guidelines and standards of practice. The CDC Nigeria OVC program goal is to reach the neediest of the orphaned and vulnerable children, reducing their risk to the disease, increasing their resilience, and mitigating the impact of HIV/AIDS. The awardee will collaborate with government and non-governmental organizations to strengthen systems and structures that support OVC and their families. This FOA would also contribute towards achieving the UNIADS/PEPFAR 90-90-90 target (knowing HIV status, receiving sustained ART and viral suppression) among OVC.
