Description: |
The primary objective of this FOA is to accelerate HIV/AIDS epidemic control and attain the UNAIDS 90-90-90 targets in the scale up districts of Fort Portal Region of Uganda by providing a package of services that will result in at least 80% antiretroviral treatment (ART) coverage in high-burden districts, their sub counties and communities; and site and community level demand creation for HIV prevention, targeted testing, counselling and care services. For the sustained districts, passive enrollment via HIV testing and counseling on request or as indicated by clinical symptomology, care and treatment services for PLHIV, and essential laboratory services for PLHIV will be provided. All this will require strong leadership and governance structures with effective oversight functions of the national health systems to ensure that the quality of service delivery is improved and available while communities are empowered to demand for services. |
