Description: This FOA invites applications on novel studies of the molecular mechanisms underlying metformins effects on aging and longevity. The goal of this FOA is to support applications that will lead to an in-depth understanding of the molecular mechanisms that determine the effects of metformin, either beneficial or detrimental, in relation to aging and longevity. Research supported by this FOA should lead to new insights and better understanding of metformins effects on aging and aging-related diseases.
