"Eligible applicants are community-based ambulatory patient care settings which include, but are not limited to: • Federally qualified health centers; • Community mental health centers; • Rural health clinics; • Health centers operated by the Indian Health service, an Indian tribe or tribal organization, or an urban Indian organization; or • A community-based entity receiving funds under Title X of the PHS Act. ?Section 749A of the Public Health Service Act (U.S.C. 293l-1) and Title II, Subtitle G, Section 2604 of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (P.L.117-2)"

The purpose of the Teaching Health Center Planning and Development Technical Assistance (THCPD-TA) Program is to provide TA to recipients of and potential applicants to HRSA’s Teaching Health Center Planning and Development (THCPD) Program. The THCPD-TA Program assists THCPD Program recipients with developing newly ACGME-accredited residency programs or Rural Training Tracks (RTTs) in family medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, internal medicine-pediatrics, general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, geriatrics and obstetrics and gynecology.
