Funding Opportunity Description: This Funding Opportunity Announcement encourages developmental / exploratory clinical research related to addressing gaps in our knowledge of how best to treat oral diseases of patients with systemic diseases or conditions known to compromise oral health, to identify factors predictive of treatment outcomes within patient groups, and to generate evidence for more precise dental treatment guidelines tailored to patient needs. It is expected that research applications will propose studies utilizing established cohorts of individuals with the disease of interest.
