Description: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award financial assistance for the following project activities. Master Cooperative Agreement Number P14AC00340 was entered into by and between the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, (NPS), and Community Teamwork, Inc. to provide hands-on service opportunities for youth to help develop a generation of skilled workers, educated and active citizens, future leaders and stewards of natural historical and cultural resources. This project will engage 4 diverse youth from local vocational schools on a part-time basis during the school year to participate in a skilled trades training and development program in the Park and provide full-time opportunity for the same youths for 10 weeks during the summer as part of an in-depth, skills training program in the Park, where they will work alongside NPS maintenance craftspeople on specific resource management projects.
