Description: |
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) solicits R43/R44 grant applications from small businesses to develop novel technologies that will enable substantive (no less than one order of magnitude) improvement in synthetic nucleic acids. The goal is to improve the quality, capabilities and efficiency of nucleic acid synthesis and synthetic constructs at reasonable and decreased costs. Large progress in this area has the potential to catalyze scientific advances relevant to the mission of NIH, NHGRI and the field of genomics. |
