The National Human Genome Research Institute intends to promote a new initiative by publishing a Request for Applications to solicit R01 applications for research in the area of Transformative Nucleic Acid Sequencing Technology Innovation and Early Development: The purpose of the RFA is to refocus and emphasize NHGRI’s investment in nucleic acid sequencing technology on novel technology innovation and early development. This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop effective collaborations and responsive projects. The FOA is expected to be published in the winter of 2021 with an expected application due date in the summer of 2021 Details of the planned FOA are provided below. |
