Description: |
The Office of Strategic Coordination (Common Fund) intends to publish a funding opportunity announcement (FOA) to support one Artificial Intelligence for Multimodal Data Modeling and Bioinformatics Center (U54) for the NIH Common Fund supported Nutrition for Precision Health, powered by the All of Us Research Program. Collaborative teams combining expertise in biomedical data science, advanced computational and data analysis approaches with those of nutrition science, intermediary metabolism, and / or physiology – will be crucial to the success of the studies. This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and develop their approaches. The funding opportunity is expected to be published in January 2021 with an expected application due date at least 60 days after publication. No foreign applications will be allowed. The FOA will utilize the cooperative agreement U54 mechanism for “Specialized Center–Cooperative Agreements.” Details of the planned FOA are provided below. |
