Description: |
The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to solicit a cooperative agreement (U24) application for a Data Management and Coordinating Center (DMCC) which will support the integration of research activities across a group of ongoing human longevity translational projects and assume responsibilities for the management and expansion of the existing NIA Exceptional Longevity Portal (EL Portal). Specifically, the DMCC will facilitate and support collaborative research activities across the human longevity translational projects, manage the deposition and distribution of data and resources generated by these projects, as well as oversee outreach to and engagement of the broader scientific community to analyze the resources hosted by the EL Portal. The DMCC will also create a collaborative research workspace by leveraging the existing infrastructure of the NIA EL portalan interoperable resource, a scalable data commons which will combine multidimensional data, cloud computing, and software tools in a secure environment to allow investigators to access, deposit, and analyze different data types from multiple sources to accelerate the translation of molecular factors contributing to exceptional health and life span. |
