Description:USAID/Bangladesh is seeking assistance to counter human trafficking (internal and transnational sex and labor trafficking) and child marriage in Bangladesh. The Fight Slavery and Trafficking in Persons (FS/TIP), a five-year (2021-2026) activity, will reduce vulnerability to trafficking in persons (TIP) and child marriage and support the fundamental freedoms and human rights that will increase the capacity of criminal justice sectors actors and institutions to prosecute trafficking offenders, enhance the public’s awareness of human trafficking and its dangers to prevent the risk of trafficking, support skills and behavior development for youth and adults thereby fostering legitimate employment opportunities, improve safety in society to protect trafficking survivors, and coordinate effective partnerships among stakeholders.The USAID’s FS/TIP activity is comprised of four interrelated objectives:Objective 1: Prosecution- Increased responsiveness of criminal justice actorsObjective 2: Prevention – Strengthened capacity of communities to identify trafficking incidents/victims and to take action and supported skill and behavior development for youth and adults that foster legitimate employment opportunitiesObjective 3: Protection – Improved access of trafficking victims to standardized assistanceObjective 4: Partnership – Coordinated and effective partnerships with stakeholders to counter human trafficking
