ACWW Grants in Support of Women and Children

The ACWW makes small grants that directly benefit women and/or children in subject areas that include agricultural training and development, water and sanitation, and several others. Grants are a maximum of £12 thousand for member organizations, and £5 thousand for non-members. AWCC’s member organizations can submit applications at any time; non-members should apply during January and June of each year.

Deadline: 30th June 2016

We support projects which:

Meet one or more of the following criteria: literacy, health education, nutrition and home economics, agricultural training and development, income, water and sanitation, civic conscientiousness / community involvement

ACWW Grants in Support of Women and Children 1Directly involve women in decision making (run mainly by women)

ACWW Grants in Support of Women and Children 1 Directly benefit women and/or children

ACWW Grants in Support of Women and Children 1Have a clearly articulated vision of how the work will impact beyond the project’s lifetime (sustainability)

ACWW Grants in Support of Women and Children 1 Address and show evidence of a clearly identified need

ACWW Grants in Support of Women and Children 1 Are initiated by community members and promote community participation
